Another fantastic week at Haven Jiu Jitsu! We were finally able to get our sign up on the front of the building and on the Pylon by the road. We are hopeful that the signage will make it much easier for everyone to spot us.
This will be the last week that you can pre-order the gi and no gi Haven gear, so make sure you get your orders in by October 25th. link to pre-order
Last week (10/11/21 -10/15/21), we worked on:
- Adult gi and no gi: finishes from the back (rear naked choke, chalupa, straight jacket choke, and bow and arrow – depending on the class)
- Kids and women: mount escapes
This week, we are working on defending the back in ALL adult classes. The kids will be finishing up the mount escape unit.
All our programs are doing great. I am especially impressed by the growth (in numbers and technique) in our two day per week women’s class. Keep up the great work ladies! I look forward to seeing everyone at the gym. Let’s keep growing the Haven community!
