On April 5th, we hosted our third Haven In-House Kids Competition—and what an incredible day it was! Over 120 kids hit the mats, bringing awesome energy, great attitudes, and a whole lot of heart.
One of the best parts? We had kids from 8 different schools come out to compete. It was amazing seeing so many teams come together with one goal: giving these young grapplers a chance to grow, learn, and gain real experience in a supportive setting.
This event isn’t about winning or losing—it’s about showing up, testing yourself, and getting better. Every single kid walked away a little tougher, a little smarter, and hopefully, a little more in love with Jiu Jitsu.
Huge thanks to all the parents, coaches, and volunteers who helped make it all happen. Events like this don’t work without your support, and we’re so grateful to have such a strong community behind us.
We’re already looking ahead to the next one. Our goal is to host two of these every year, and we’ll keep everyone posted once the next date is locked in!
